Welcome to my first post on the recipes page! I'm going to show you how to make some delicious red, white, and blue popsicles. I was going to make a witty joke about red, white, and blue, but I got nothing, so to make up for it I have this: (Insert witty joke here). Tada! Let's get into the recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup of blueberries
1 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp honey
3 Tbsp water
1 cup of raspberries
1/2 tsp vanilla
Popsicle molds
Popsicle sticks
Funnel (optional)
Cup with spout
1 cup of blueberries
1 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp honey
3 Tbsp water
1 cup of raspberries
1/2 tsp vanilla
Popsicle molds
Popsicle sticks
Funnel (optional)
Cup with spout
Process:
1. In a blender combine the blueberries, 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt, 1 Tbsp of honey, and 1 Tbsp of water.
2. Blend the mixture until smooth.
3. After the mixture is smooth, pour it into a cup with a spout. This will make pouring the mixture into the popsicle molds easier.
4. Using a funnel (optional), pour the blue mixture into the popsicle molds until each is 1/3 filled. Then stick the molds into the freezer.
5. Clean the blender, funnel, and your spout cup to avoid the mixture of colors for our red, white, and blue.
6. Then combine 1 cup of Greek yogurt, the vanilla, 1 Tbsp of honey, and 1 Tbsp of water.
7. Combine till smooth.
8. Pour the mixture into the cup with a spout.
9. Take the molds out of the freezer and pour the mixture into the mold until the mold is 2/3 full.
10. Stick a popsicle stick into each of the molds; then put the molds back into the freezer.
11. Clean the blender, funnel, and your spout cup.
12. Then put the raspberries, 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt, 1 Tbsp of honey, and 1 Tbsp of water into the blender.
13. Blend the mixture until smooth.
14. After the mixture is smooth, pour it into the cup with a spout.
15. Take the molds out of the freezer and pour the raspberry mixture into the molds until they are full.
16. Stick the molds back into the freezer and let sit overnight. The next day you'll have some delicious red, white, and blue popsicles to serve and celebrate with on the Fourth of July. Enjoy!
